Who we are

Original Stock is an online shop for authentic fashion, footwear and streetwear, based in Egypt. This policy explains what we collect when you visit original-stock.com, place an order, create an account, or confirm your mobile number on WhatsApp.

What we collect

• Account and order details: mobile number, name, optional email, shipping address, city, country, and the products you buy.
• Payment: the method you choose (cash on delivery or InstaPay). If you pay by InstaPay we store the screenshot you upload as proof of payment. We do not store card numbers.
• Device: cookies so your cart and sign-in survive closing the browser, plus ordinary server logs used to keep the shop running.
• WhatsApp: described below.

WhatsApp

You can confirm that a mobile number is yours by sending us a short one-time code on WhatsApp. That step is optional at checkout and required only if you want to sign in to your account afterwards.

When you tap “Confirm on WhatsApp”, WhatsApp opens with that code already filled in, addressed to our business number. You choose to hit send. Meta then delivers the inbound message to us through the WhatsApp Cloud API. From that delivery we receive the WhatsApp sender's phone number, the text of the message (the one-time code), and message identifiers and timestamps Meta includes with every delivery.

We use the sender number only to prove you control it, then to sign you in and attach your orders to that account. We do not send you WhatsApp messages, marketing or otherwise. We do not buy a WhatsApp message template. We do not use WhatsApp data for advertising, profiling, or resale.

Meta processes that message as the operator of WhatsApp, under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

Opting out of WhatsApp verification: do not send the message. At checkout you can skip confirmation and still place the order. To stop using WhatsApp with us later, simply do not send further codes, and email support@original-stock.com if you want the verified mark removed from your account.

How we use this information

• To take, fulfil, and support your orders, including calling you about delivery.
• To let you sign in without a password, see your order history, and reuse a saved address.
• To keep the shop secure.
• To improve the catalogue using aggregated figures rather than a profile of you.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers.

Who we share it with

• Our staff, so they can pick, pack and support the order.
• Meta / WhatsApp, only as the transport for a confirmation you send.
• Hosting that runs original-stock.com.
• Anyone we must tell to comply with the law.

Cookies

We use a session cookie, a remember-me cookie if you confirmed your number (kept for 60 days), and a device cookie so a guest cart is not lost. You can clear them in your browser.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for fulfilment, returns and accounting. WhatsApp verification attempts expire within minutes; we keep the outcome (that a number was confirmed, and when) on the customer record. Email support to ask us to delete an account that has no outstanding orders.

Your choices

• Skip WhatsApp confirmation at checkout, or simply do not send the code.
• Ask us to correct or delete personal data, or to send you a copy, at support@original-stock.com.

Children

Original Stock is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects how we use WhatsApp or your orders, we will update this page and the date above.
